Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions set out the basis on which you can use our website and place orders for items from Absolutely Fancy Dress. By ordering goods from Firework Superstore you are deemed to have understood and accepted these terms. The supplier of the goods featured on this website, is a trading name of Firework Superstore, ("Superstore", "we", or "us"). Registered office at 444 Hillington Road, Glasgow G52 4RU. Any email or any acknowledgement by us of a receipt of an order placed by you does not mean that we have accepted your order. By completing and submitting the electronic order form you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us (which will occur when we dispatch your order), will result in a binding contract.
Orders & Payment
We may despatch your order in a number of instalments and each dispatch is a separate contract and is not connected to any other dispatch.
We will validate your credit/debit card before accepting your order. We will not accept your order if your card is declined at any stage during the processing of your order. We will try to contact you if your card is declined. We will take reasonable care to protect the confidentiality of your card details, however we will not be liable if these details are intercepted by, and used by third parties through no fault of our own.
Orders accepted by us are normally dispatched within 24 hours of the order being placed on our website except on weekends and bank/public holidays, when they will be dispatched within 24 hours of the next working day. Please note that at busy times of the year including prior to Halloween and Christmas we cannot guarantee this dispatch time.
The delivery time from date of dispatch by us varies according to your chosen method of shipment. We have no control over the goods once they are shipped and cannot guarantee that your order will arrive within the time specified by your chosen method of shipment.
From time to time we may have to alter the price shown on the website. The price you are charged will be the price shown on the website at the time of order. We will not guarantee that subsequent orders will be charged at the same price. Prices shown are in Sterling and include VAT where applicable, but do not include postage and packing charges, these are shown separately.
While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
All items on the website are subject to availability. Stock availability shown on the website is an indication, and is not a guarantee that the item is available for immediate dispatch.
If you have selected an item that is not in stock, we will try to contact you as quickly as we can. We will try to do this within 24 hours (except on weekends and bank/public holidays when we normally do not work). Please note that at busy times of the year including prior to Halloween and Christmas we cannot guarantee to contact you within this time.
If your chosen product is not available for whatever reason, we will endeavour to contact you to offer an alternative. If we are unable to contact you, we will cancel the order.
If you are unable to accept delivery, we will not refund any charges relating to you collecting the goods.
Your rights to cancel/returns.
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel your order within a period of 7 working days. The period of 7 working days begins on the day after the day you receive your goods. You must inform us of your wish to cancel in writing either by letter, email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by fax to 0141 810 5713 within a period of 7 working days. The period of 7 working days begins on the day after the day you receive your goods.
You must take reasonable care of the goods and must not use them. In order to avoid confusion and ensure that your request to cancel is received, we recommend that instructions for cancellation are made by fax. You must be clear you wish to cancel and quote the order number on your email confirmation.
Before returning anything you must contact us and we will give you a Goods Returns Number. This number must be included with the returned items otherwise we will be unable to process them. Include the delivery note or a copy of your email invoice with the goods, and send the goods in appropriate packaging.
If you wish to return goods to us, we will arrange collection and deduct the cost of this collection from any refund due.

Refunds will be made to the card that was used in the original purchase or a cheque made payable to the cardholder if the card is no longer valid. In the case of cheque payment a cheque will be issued payable to the original customer. Refunds normally take 7-14 days.
In summary, we will only refund returned/cancelled orders if:-
1) The goods are in their complete, original packaging.
2) The goods have not been used.
3) You agree to pay the shipping costs to return the item(s).
None of the above affects your statutory rights.
The limitations of colour reproduction and the individual colour settings of your screen may mean a slight variation. Every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions are accurate. However, specifications may change. In addition, there can be minor variations in colour and style from the descriptions and pictures on the website, we will always dispatch goods of comparable or superior quality.
This Contract is deemed to have been made in Scotland and is governed by Scottish Law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts as regards any claim, dispute or matter arising out of or relating to this Contract.
Firework Superstore Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
